I just finished this one today & I love how it turned out. It's pretty rare to actually be in pictures, since I am the photographer of the family- so I made sure it was a special page.
Since my dad's name is Guy, we decided that instead of Grandpa, he can be called guypa! I love this picture of the two of them smiling at eachother! So sweet!
That would have to be American Crafts Thickers. Now, I know these aren't a new thing, but they are SO fabulous & SO fun! They come in so many different colors, textures and fonts & they are so versatile! I love them...I could probably use them on every page!
These are 2 pages I made for an 8x8 album from our trip to Colorado. I had so much fun working on this with all of the bright colors...and of course the pink!
I love this room and I am so glad it is done so I can finally get to work. I've started a few pages & I will be sure to post them when they are done.
I got the desk with the hutch @ target.com & the large white desk was found in the Ikea clearance center for $12! The two bookcases were from Lowes for $50 each. I made the curtains and the fabulous pink chair is from office max!
So, since my mom is so great at the scrappin, I figure I should post some of her lovely creations (especially since I haven't been able to scrapbook since April because of renovations!) Oh & scrapbook room update: the floor is installed & the baseboards are up!! Hooray...almost there! July Calendar: This is an adorable card she made for my soon to be sister-in-law! So clever!
Sorry I haven't posted in FOREVER, but we have been having computer issues & have been busy finishing the basement. Once the basement is done (hopefully in the next few weeks) I should be posting at least weekly! But, for now it might be a little slow. I also hope to start doing give-aways once I have more time to scrap and blog! So...be sure to look for that!
Below are pictures of my mom's cute calendar that she makes...this is the June page and it is a gardening theme...SO CUTE!
Sorry about the lack of scrapbooking pages lately...I need to get my own scanner! Here are some more of my "Wednesday's with Jackson" book. These are weeks 8 thru 13. Enjoy.
Did anyone watch Studio 5 this past Friday (on KSL)? Apparently I won tickets to the Scrapbook USA expo for submitting one of my scrapbook pages! Too bad I missed it...but I was at the Scrapbook expo & it was AMAZING!! I love that they have it twice a year here in Utah & they have so much good stuff! So, all you do is pay 10 bucks and you get admittance into the huge expo center where they have hundreds of scrapbook vendors & the majority have stuff for 1 or 2 dollars! It is a great place to stock up! I bought TONS of Scenic Route stickers for just .10 cents each & they had all their chipboard letters there for only $1! Fabulous! Only one dollar! Only one dollar Only one dollar! Just 10 cents each!!!
These are pictures of my Mom's April Calendar- she stiched the flowers on the side with yarn & put in paper for the leaves...SO ADORABLE! I just love it! She has the most awesome calendars! I'll have to get her to send me more pages to post!
We Are Memory Keepers has a new paper line out called "white out"! It is so awesome! I just love the colors. I couldn't find a picture of the boyish style ones they have...but I used them on a page for Jackson's scrapbook & I just love it! Below is a picture of the more girly colors...they are so bright & fun! I bought my supply at All My Memories and I got 20% off since they are closing...what a deal!
So, for all you Utahns out there, All My Memories in Draper is closing it's doors- sad, huh? BUT, the fabulous part of it is that they are having a GINORMOUS Sale on EVERYTHING! Here is the breakdown of the sale:

I just love how this box turned out and it was SUPER easy! I just used an old 100 Calorie box and cut it how I wanted, then cut out my matching paper & glued it on. So fun & so easy! I'm so excited to display it on my counter!
I just finished these layouts today & I love how they turned out. I love how the paper matches his sweater- so fun! You can click on the pictures for a closer view. (Paper- Scenic Route)
