Just like his big brother Jackson, Cooper has a weekly "Wednesdays With Cooper" book. I actually finished the entire album before his birth- so now, all I have to do is add pictures & journaling. I LOVE having this for my boys...it is so fun to look back and see what they looked like at each week & it is so fun to compare what Jacksy looked like at 3 weeks and what Cooper looks like at 3 weeks and so on. This book is made with an 8x8 album, which made it go a lot faster than a 12x12.
So, I actually HAVE been scrapbooking...but I have been quite neglectful of this blog. But, now that my Cooper is sleeping better at night- I feel like I CAN and WILL update this blog regularly! Hooray! So, first things first...here is a book I made a few months ago about our summer trip to Colorado with my family. I used an 11x8.5 book from Martha Stewart & I loved making pages this size! It was so fun to do something besides a 12x12. Oh & THANK YOU Cosmo Cricket for making my favorite paper & embellishments to match! This entire album was made from 90% Cosmo Cricket.
OH my! Living in Utah can just be so wonderful- especially when it comes to scrapbooking! Not only is there a bi-annual scrapbook expo- but there are some great local scrapbook retailers that have huge SALES! Case in point: American Crafts Scrapbooking Warehouse Sale! I braved the freezing weather & the snowy drive, but OH MY was it worth it! I bought 20 packages of THICKERS!! Hooray! Also, they had their wonderful cloth albums for mega cheap, and they had tons of ribbon for cheap...let's face it, everything was cheap! If you live in Utah, I highly suggest going! I think I may have to go again!
I made this card for my sweet little 2-year-old's birthday party! It was super easy & fun to make! I used the online program picnik.com (it's free & it's wonderful!)to edit & add the text on the pictures & I love how it turned out!
Hello everyone! I just cleaned out my scrapbook room & I have tons of stuff I'd like to sell. I'm listing it on KSL for $8-Wow! If you'd like to see the ad, you can click here.
(This is for locals only- in the salt lake area- sorry).
Seriously, trying to think of titles for my scrapbook pages is hard enough...especially since I've been doing about 4 pages a day...which for me (with a 2 year old) is A LOT! I can basically only scrap while he's taking a nap- so we're talking about 4 pages in 1-2 hours...pretty good I'd say. But, I'm really excited because I am finally getting caught up...I'm now at June 2009! Hooray! I still have to do the new baby's book and our Maui book...but I'm getting there!
Here are some recent ones...enjoy!
PS- you can click on the pictures to make them larger!!
